When it comes to talking about a famous person in the IELTS Speaking test, don’t worry if you are not exactly sure of the person’s name. You can get around this by saying something like eat following:
I’d like to talk about the actor who plays Mr Bean…
I’d like to talk about the singer who sang ‘candle in the wind’…
I can’t quite remember his name, but anyway, let me tell you about him
Benefits and Drawbacks of Being Famous
CollocationsÂ
Collocations are extremely important when speaking English. This basically means knowing which words go together. For example, the following are all collocations.
